Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

The Beginning - Angela Kay Elion, a beautiful little girl, was born June 23, 1963 to her parents, Will Eddie Elion Sr. and Mattie B. Brooks Elion in Tate County, Senatobia, Mississippi.

The Early Years - Angela achieved her early schooling in Coldwater, Mississippi and graduated from Coldwater High School in 1981. She pursued her postsecondary education at Northwest Community College and later attended the University of Mississippi where she received her BSB in Business Administration in 1985. She received her MBA in Management & Leadership at Dowling College in 2014.

Her Calling - Angela accepted Christ as her personal savior at West Antioch No. 1, Missionary Baptist Church in Senatobia, Mississippi. She later became a member of Calvary Chapel, Bartlett after moving to Millington, Tennessee with her husband and children. She served as teacher in the Children's Sunday school and volunteered to support other church events as needed. Her

Life's Work - Angela began working in the banking industry with First Tennessee in 1986. She would eventually begin her life's career at FedEx beginning in 1990. Most of her career was spent in positions that required her to use her gifted financial, planning and organizational skills, but it was her overall love for people that enabled her to support every team and company project that came her way. Her greatest accomplishment during her thirty-two years of serving at FedEx would be her time spent leading volunteer efforts in support of community organizations like Operation Feed, Juvenile Diabetes, March of Dimes, Toys for Tots, Youth Villages, FedEx Family House and Methodist-LeBonheur Children's Hospital. Angela loved her FedEx family and the role she served for the past sixteen years as an Engineer Systems Advisor.

The Untold- Angela looked forward to any occasion to dust off her old sewing machine and sew a simple garment or fix a hem for her family, or if she was up to it, tackle a small furniture upholstery job. She didn't show it a lot, but she had a very creative side to her and loved doing arts and crafts, planning and decorating. Her greatest love was serving God in any capacity and fellowshipping with her family and friends.

Her Blessings - Angela Kay Elion married William Adair Jones on June 27th, 1993 in Memphis, Tennessee. They raised two lovely children together; daughter, Erin Janae and son, Alec William Jones. Her Rest - Angela departed this life on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital, at 11:16 P.M. after a courageous fight against cancer.

Her Family - She leaves behind her husband of twenty-nine years, William, her children Erin & Alec, her father, Will Eddie Elion Sr., her mother, Mattie B. Brooks Elion; Her brothers; Will Eddie Elion Jr. (Donna), Darin Elion (Jacqueline), Rodney Elion (Darla), Stacey Elion (Phylicia). Her sisters; Vera Elion Blackburn (Morice), Vernester Elion Phillips (George), Virginia Elion Bryant (Aubrey), and Carla Elion Robertson (Ricky); Angela's mother-in-law, Mary Alice Jones, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends to cherish her memory.
