Mrs. Evelyn C. Boyce Strong

October 22, 1925 - April 30, 2022

Mrs. Evelyn C. Boyce Strong (96), peacefully passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. She is survived by her sons Rodney Keith Strong (Delmarie Griffin-Strong), Byron Reginald Strong, a stepdaughter, Ivorie Russell, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and was predeceased by her husband Claude Estes Strong.

A Family Hour and Visitation will be held at Jefferson Mortuary, 7788 Church Street, Millington, TN 38053 on Monday, May 9th from 5 - 7 p.m. A Homegoing Celebration will be held Tuesday May 10th at Parkway Gardens Presbyterian Church, 1005 E. Shelby Drive, Memphis, TN, with a Final Viewing at 10 a.m., followed by the Funeral at 11 a.m. Interment will be 2 p.m. at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Road, Memphis, TN.
