Pastor LC Granderson 79 of Memphis, Tennessee Passed away Saturday May 18, 2019 at St. Frances Hospital Bartlett.  His visitation will be Thursday May 23rd from 4 - 7 p.m. and Friday May 24th from 10 -11:55 a.m. with funeral to begin at 12 noon, all at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 1234 Pisgah Road, Cordova, TN 38016.

Interment will follow in church cemetery.

He was a graduate of Fayette County Training School Class of 1958 and LeMoyne Owen College.

Rev. Granderson served as Pastor of Union Hill Baptist Church in Galloway, TN; Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Rock of Ages Baptist Church and Trinity Baptist Church all in Memphis, TN. He was employed by Memphis City and Shelby County Schools for over 40 years.

He leaves a son, Rev. Larry (Andrea) Granderson and daughter, Tiffany (Horace) Rankins. 7 grandchildren; Myisha (Demetrius) Ray, Anais Granderson, Chelsee Rankins, Cristen Rankins, Ariana Granderson, Lawrence Granderson and Tereka Johnson. 2 Great grandchildren; Jayden Rankins and Rylie Ray and a host of other family members and friends that will forever cherish his memories.

He was preceded in death by his wife and daughter; Rosie Marie Granderson and Teresa Johnson.
