Mrs. Mae Elizabeth Jordan, age 86 of Brighton, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Shelby Gardens in Cordova, Tennessee. 

Born on August 7, 1940, Mrs. Jordan lived a long life marked by the years she shared with those around her. She will be remembered with respect and affection by all who knew her.

Her passing marks the close of a life that spanned more than eight decades, and her memory will remain with those who had the privilege of knowing her.

There will be a viewing for Mrs. Jordan on Saturday, October 24th from 4-6pm at Jefferson Mortuary, Inc., 7788 Church Street, Millington, Tennessee 38053.  Her funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 28th in Chicago, Illinois.

Interment will be a Restvale, Cemetery in Alsip, Illinois.
